From 2nd year of the medical program, Russian government medical universities offer MCI coaching along with the MBBS course. In which the expert medical faculties provide complete guidance regarding the MCI exam to their students.
The National Board of Examination (NME) conducted the MCI Screening test or FMGE exam in India. This is the licensing examination and it is mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates if they want to practice their medical career in India. Recently, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have passed the National Medical Commission (NMC) bill, in which NMC will replace the MCI and will be in charge of medical education in India.
The NMC bill will be responsible for approving medical colleges, conducting MBBS entrance and exit examinations, and regulate the course fees. As per this bill, there will be a common final year MBBS exam for students which will be known as the National Exit Test (NEXT). This exam is an entrance test for all Indian medical students who want to take admission in postgraduate medical courses and it will also provide the license to practice anywhere in India. For international medical students, who have complete their MBBS degree from abroad and want to practice in India, this exam will be considered as the screening test to obtain a license to practice their medical career.
